you wont believe me but this how it is ... pretty much all aftermarket pads are junk...they are either, both, or all: DUSTY, NOISY(SCREECHY), BRAKE FADE, WEAR OUT FAST, INCONSISTENT STOPPING POWER .. oem really is awesome for performance ... no dust, no noise with correct shims and last a long time ...... axxis and especially axxis pads are junk, trust me ive had them on my car .. oem is the way to go

you need to BED in your pads, very important

Go out to a street where not many people are and get going about 60 or 70mph then brake as hard as you can without locking up the brakes. and let off when you get to about 5 mph. DO NOT STOP because this will burn parts of the pad to the rotors. do this 5 or 6 times then drive a little while to cool off the brakes.

the fact that you have 20's doesn't help with the brake pads

Nissan pads (not the budget nissan ones) felt mushy on downhills. I think they heat up too much.
I went through a Hawk HP+ set pretty quick, but they are my fav so far. I'm on Axxis now, and not happy about them.

Proper bed-in procedures are dependent upon the type of pad. Go with the manufacturer's recommendation for their pads. Should be on their web site.

I use Hawk HPS on Brembo blanks and I am very happy.

I used the OEM pads for years and they are not designed for the way I drive.
