compression testing
was looking at the standard compression testers with the rubber extension hose and 14mm adapters - is this what we need for the Vq30? how do you tighten the end of the rubber extension hose way down in the bottom of the spark plug tube? do you just twist the hose by hand and hope that you get enough torque out of it to get an air tight seal?? just seems like the rubber would twist before it gets tight enough.
also - the FSM says to disconnect the fuel injector control connections before testing compression - is there one central connector or do you have to disconnect each one individually? the back 3 are hidden under the plenum, but the FSM says nothing about removing the plenum first.
thanks.
