Lightbulb Question

the left side headlight in my maxima isn't lighting anymore.
does anybody know if a 99 altima lightbulb will work with the 96 maxima?
I have 2 couple extra bulbs from my altima and instead of buying new ones for the max I figured maybe I can just use the altima bulbs.

You need 9004 lights. I dont' know if an Altima had those but I suspect they're 9007. You can convert your 9004 harness to 9007 which I recommend you do. You will have a better light pattern and it only takes 10 minutes to do. There should be a how-to in the stickys

Go buy a set of Sylvania Extravision bulbs at Walmart for 9 bucks. You should replace both bulbs to maintain uniform brightness. The Extravision bulb is the brightest 9004 standard replacement bulb you can buy for your 4th gen Maxima.
