Need Help With Safc2 Tune

can anyone briefly describe how i would tune it down... i am running to rich the car sputters..... when it was original installed and tuned it was great now some1 fiddled with it and its acting up....

You want to tune the A/F ratios yourself? If not then find a good tuning shop and strap it on the dyno and they'll start tuning.

You could also tune on the street, but you need a wide-band.

They will work even with aftermarket ECU.

it was SAFC tuned not dyno tuned... i am goin to get dyno tuned soon... the place is CALLED AUTOMOTIVE TOY STORE

Well then how did they tune it .. on the street using a wideband?

What do you think dyno tuning is when you use an SAFC on the dyno? Something is needed to tune it like NmexMax said, either a wideband o2, or a dyno to read your A/F ratio.

he tuned it VIA SAFC2, he didnt dyno tune cuz there was no dyno. But i understand wat you guys are sayin... i need to DYNO TUNE

how on earth could he tune it without knowing the A/F ratio? You do need to dyno tune it to get it proper

I was just about to ask that. Where ever you got your 97 turbo tuned. Go there and get your car tuned wioth the SAFC2.

is it possible to tune with an auterra or sensor monitoring device and a laptop? can you pull readings from that and tune with the afc accordingly?

A good dyno tune will make all the diffrance and you will get the full effect out of it
