i just tinted my tail lights and i was wondering how long i should wait to put the clear coat on....theyve been drying for an hour already, also do i clear coat the whole light or just the part i tinted out????? some one please help me out thanks

 

i would do the whole thing so it all looks uniform and shiny, but i dunno how long to wait.

 

you should be fine by now...... do all the of it.

if you used VHT niteshades there's no reason to use the clearcoat. If you used something else, then you should be fine by now

 

i did use vht nite shades and i clear coated and they came out mint but i only clear coated the part i tinted i havent took the tape off the other part yet so if it looks bad ill clear coat the rest but how long do i need to wait to put the tail lights on my car?

 

You should let it dry overnight just in case.

add about 2-4 coats cause if u don't, its gonna wear out sooner or later

no it wont. he said he used niteshades, which will never wear out. testors on the other hand....

love that look,but i personally wouldnt go that dark. im wondering if it will give police a reason to pull you over all the time though.
