Moonroof Off Track

went to close my moonroof this morning... motor turning, no movement. Pulled the roof shut by hand... the motor is still turning but the roof isnt catching and is stuck about an half inch below the roofline. Is this an easy fix or should I try the stealership? Thanks.

I have the same issue. In my case, one of the cables has snapped. In addition, in trying close it one day when I accidentally opened it (duh!) I broke one of the parts that raises it up when you tilt it. Everyone I've talked to says roughly $400 to $500 to fix it. The headliner has to come out. There is a sticky for sunroof repair and a kit that's supposedly pretty cheap.

yeah, there is a kit that you can buy that will suppossedly fix your sunroof problem, but it isn't really clear what it fixes or what it has in the kit. and yeah, it is pretty involved. definitely a days work. headliner comes out, which means so does a bunch of your interior, entire sunroof assembly... hopefully it's nothing major. good luck.
