OOvi questions

I'm not into top end power. I LOVE my max's low/mid range power. After lookin at a ton of posts, i've come to the census that the MEVI does take away your low end and compensates for top end, and u don't feel the full potential without the chip. Like i said before, i'm not a top end guy, i hate waitin for power. The OOvi is said to add to midrange and you can feel its full potential without a chip. My question is, are the rumors of its reliability and difficult assembly true. Thirdly, what does the OOvi come from and what else do i need to purchase along with the manifold? thanx a bunch!

ok let me sum it up...

yes the rumors are true, installation can be a ***** if you dont know much about cars...

it does add midrange/top end ...

the 00vi comes from a 2000-2001 maxima...

theres 9812391239 different 00vi setups so telling you what you need will not get you anywhere...

i've never heard of the reliability issues, if you install it correctly.

low end loss with the mevi can be regained (most of it) with a ecu upgrade.

If yopu're not a top end guy then why go through the truoble of installing a 00VI, when the USDM retains it(mid range)?

An ECU upgrage is more up your alley in order to add even more midrange than adding an entire IM system if you're not going to use it.

I find it funny that the DE-K motor is about the same price as some pay for jus the manifolds with or without coil packs injectors etc. Might as well buy the whole motor and have everything in one nice pacakge.

S/C (V1/s centrifigul) does virtualy nothing for low end on our cars.

I'd say for low end .. 3.5L ..

Agreed. I don't feel the SC when I first mash the gas. Builds exponentially to red line, the car shifts and the process starts all over.
