Need a special tool/socket. It's called an E-14 socket or something. Go to AutoZone and they have them in their socket section.

The ghettofabulous way if you can't find that tool is put 2 nuts on the stud, and turn the nut on the top. The one on the bottom prevents that turning nut from coming all the way off and in turn allows the whole stud to turn.

Thanks for the help. I searched for that e-14 thing and it's a torx socket, size e-14. Now i know what to ask for without sounding like a jack@$$.

Looks like it's a good thing the torx/star socket i needed only came in a set because it turn out that the size that fits is the E10, not E14. And the set i bought includes it. This is just for everyone's info...

Dammit. The tops of 2 of the studs broke off as i was trying to remove them. I managed to get one out tho. What else can i do to remove these POS studs other than removing the whole freaking exhaust manifold??

BTW, that 2 nut thing didn't really work for me.
