Brake options

Hey guys, long time lurker, few time poster.

Anyway, on Friday I was driving home from class when I smelled brakes, so I got out and saw that my rear passenger side brake was smoking, so I drove straight to the shop, and it turns out that the e-brake was sticking due to a design flaw that has since been corected and I need rear rotors, calipers, and pads, at least. My mechanic said it's going to be about $900 for everything, and he quoted a price of $175 for each rotor. I told him that I can get Brembos on the GD Forum for about $100 and that I'd be looking into that. I haven't really had time to see if Brembo makes calipers for our cars, so...

Anyway, what I'm getting to is asking the question of what everybdoy thinks I should do in this situation. I've been on the org a while and I've seen how helpful everybody is and I just don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Since its the rear rotor I wouldn't stress getting brembos. (thats just me, the rears do MAYBE 25% if that of the braking)

Autozone sells the rears for our car for $27.

I just bought some autozone rotors for the back and brembos for the front not much of a difference in them.

okay, for rotors there's a group deal on brembo brakes or go to tirerack.com and get rear brembos drilled or slotted or blanks for about $200 (blanks are cheaper) ; brake pads, go for oem pads; calipers; look in the parts for sale section to find a cheap one.
