I have Dunlop Sport SP-5000, they are ultra high performance all-season tires. Very quiet and sticky.

You are on stock rims, right? What size did you put on the rims?

Im buying Borbet Type E's Size 17X8 and i do not know which tires to buy on them. im having a hard decision deciding. The Dunlop sport sp5000 are the tires im leaning towards.

Would they be ok on the max cause-->>>

225/55-16 is not in the option on the tires.com we-site. For some reason the fatter the tires the lower the profile. Currently i have 225/50-16 and i want to change it to 225/55-16.

Bridgestone Potenza

The Re730's i think is what i got Z-rated $130 each for 17's they grip awesome in the rain and on dry pavement not too much louder 45 profile and they will last for about 40k miles as long as you rotate them every 3k. They can definitely handle the high speeds (135+mph) and grip great....i suggest lowering the car a bit though if you put low pros on 17's otherwise you will have a hideous amount of fender gap....dont drop it to the ground just 1 3/4" in the front and 1 1/2" in the rear looks good. Holds the road better too IMHO.

I'd go with the Dunlop SP Sport 5000's. The're pretty good all seasons. As for 17X8 Wheels, you'll need 235/45/17 Tires.

Just got these on my Max today so my time with them is limited but I'd have to say that after pushing them through the turns on the way from the tire shop to work they stuck like glue and were nice and quiet. It's just now starting to rain out so I'll see what's up with the wet handling on the drive home...

Paid about $400 for all 4 tires including road hazard and a front+rear alignment...

Best Tires

the first thing that caught my eye when i found my '97 superblack maxima was the tires. they were the michelin mxv4 energy 215-55/16;

if you're willing to shell out a little more cash, these are the best tires--for rain, snow, highway; they're real quiet and smooth, and if you'll definitely get at least 80,000mi out of them. later
