I was thinking of getting a vinyl dash kit like this one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSA...8943QQtcZphoto

but wanted to see if anybody had pics of this installed on their max first. Also what's the quality of the vinyl like? I know it won't be as durable as a real aluminum dash kit but I want something that could be easily removed if I ever want to go back to stock.

Any good or bad experiences with vinyl?

paint it. this is from experience. it will look 1000 times better, and if you get a cheap ebay kit, it looks good at first, then you just get kinda sick of it after awhile, plus it dings and dents like crazy which is unavoidable... check my homepage for pics of alum. dash kit

the only thing on ebay you can get reguarding dash pieces that looks good is gauge rings IMO.

As I said earlier I want this to be removable so paint is not an option. The pics on your site look good. That's a real aluminum dash kit and not the vinyl, right?

its not real.. but its not vinyl. its like some sort of, well im not really sure actually.. maybe its real, but if it is its reallllllly thin. thinner than sheet metal..

the real ones cost upwards of 200 and change, and are not from ebay.. mine was like 120 shipped off ebay iirc.
