'96 Max plastic gage panel removal.

Help,

I wish to clean out the space between the gages and the clear plastic sheet (panel?) covering them, but how do I remove the plastic? I found two screws on the top of the gage cluster in front of the clear plastic sheet, but is there anything else I need to remove. I will try to remove it later tonight.

Chris...

I can't remember what all you have to remove to do this, but you have to remove the whole guage cluster to take the plastic off.

You need to take out the whole gauge cluster first. One screw on top, two on the bottom.

The clear plastic part is held onto the gauge body by little tabs. You may need a small flat screwdriver to pry a few of them out. There are about 8 - 10 of them. Start on the flat bottom and work your way around.
