there's a maxima that i'm interested in that has a hks intake, with the foam filter. from what i hear and read on the board that's not the best way to go. so anyway, i shouldn't have any problems taking that out and adding the CAI right?

also, would there be any resale value on the hks intake? would it even be worth my time to try to sell it?

There should be no problem with changing from the HKS to a CAI, actually probably makes it a bit easier b/c you don't have to deal with the airbox. Is there any resale value to the HKS? I dunno, already got an intake so I wouldn't pay you anything for it. But if someone wants one they'll give you a reasonable amount for it.
