My max @ stock ('96 GLE) topped at around 125ish w/ OD off, when i turned it on, around 135ish. Not quite sure.

IIRC, the article stated 143 mph. Tried it out in 1997 to make sure and did all of that and then some in the middle of nowhere in the Interior of British Columbia on a 4-lane divided highway, 25 miles from habitation. My car is a 5-speed with no speed limiter.

I've hit 132mph in my automatic 95 Max SE, but there was a stop sign ahead, so I didn't want to try going any higher.

never tried to top it out but went 95 on the highway on accident when a good song came on the radio. I couldnt believe how fast i was going with out meaning too. This was about 2 years ago in my 95 stock se.

well if your saying do not do it then y would u need to know the top speed if u rn't going to go that fast i'm not trying to sound like an a$$... dang i should drive to philly and race those evo's and sti's in my 350z and show them some nissan power.
