It's a pretty easy conversion actually. I did mine in a couple days with the help of a blind guy who only had one arm. With a friend who could actually see I could have probably done it in less than a day. If he had two arms too it would take a couple hours tops. Press Alt-F4 for pics.

Actually if you open command prompt ant type in "format c:" <enter> then hit "y" <enter> the video will automatically play!....

when i was 17 years old, i was told that no one could acutally fit a turboed 3.8ltr grand national motor into a toyota...not only that...it would be an utter waste of money. Yeah i spent 10g on the convesion...but it was sick.
A four wheel drive turboed toyota with 33's and 325horsed going to the all four wheels. The look on ricers faces when i could lite up all four tires...and kill them off the line. was just utter greatness. YEah now 6 years later everyone is doing that conversion...but its rareley never seen the turboed..anyways..if this kid pulls it off then more power to em.. stupid crazy stuff can be done.. if he wants to hack his firewall up and shizzle then let em..

If don't you get 0-60 in less than 2.5 seconds you wasted your time, maybe you shouldn't have used the blind guy. Or gotten a blind guys with two arms, one or the other.

All this hate is why no one does anything crazy to the max, no support lol! Did this happen to the first guy to say he wanted to turbo his max? Did he get a response like "turbo? thats a waste of money, too many headaches! Just get a Z if you wanna go fast" Why lower your car? It just makes it bouncy and harsh. If someone wants to do it more power to them.

No, it's not all this hate, it's the fact that most people cruising around in 4th gen Max's don't have the $$$ to convert one to awd or rwd. Or if they have the $$$ they don't love the 4th gen enough.
Plus if you look at in Automobile magazine where they put a v-8 in a focus and converted it to rwd, they were still only marginally quicker than a stock 4th gen.
It's a risky deal, unless you're Jay Leno and have the $$$ to take an old Torino, do a frame off restoration/rwd conversion and have the people to do it right, doing a 4g rwd or awd half-*** would be a disaster.
AND unless you come in way under what it would cost to go find a skyline, you've gambled and lost.

But it would be original, and thats what this car scene is about isn't it? Originality? If you have the money and know-how why not? And then there are the bragging rights, but I guess that doesn't mean anything to anyone lol

First of all, nobody made you reply or join these forums. Second of all, how does anybody here sound cocky? It was a thread asking what was the latest with somebody converting their maxima to AWD. Idiot. And lastly, who cares about your crappy a$$ truck. Who cares if it can smoke half the max's on this forum. It's idiots like you that contribute to the downfall of these forums.

Bragging rights are okay I guess, but for the most part maxima owners don't have the $$$ or know-how to do the conversion, and if they did have the money to do it they would probably be smart enough to take the $$$ and go buy a car that's more worth while. Besides I don't think too many people beyond this forum would be extremely impressed with an AWD or RWD maxima, they'de probably just say something like, "oh, my _____ has AWD, I don't even know what it does."

I think it would be great to have an AWD or RWD Maxima but I wouldn't blow my money on something like that. I'd rather invest the money in real-estate or stocks or something and retire early. Just my $.02.

"wow this seriously is the worste forum i have ever been in...hell makes me not even want to keep my 4th gen...bunch of cocky mamas boys sitting around with nuthen better to do then diss on everyone elses ideas..."
