Projectors question
Hi guys,
my boy just got projectors installed, and the problem is that he has high/low beam, but he doesn't know how to make high beam work? does he need relay ? or something else?

yea man its on maxima, and actually he is registered here but for some reason he can't make a new thread, thats y he asked me....

he has bixenon, from SL 55 i beleive, and as u said it has moveable flap...

There 2 types of projectors, low beam and bixenon. The bixenon has some circuitry and a coil looking thing at the bottom of th projector along with a moveable flap. When the proper voltage is applied the flap moves down to allow a high beam to be projected. If he has regular lowbeam projectors, obviously there is no highbeam. Find out who did the work and get back with them. Also do a search in hidplanet.com/forums for bixenon to see some pics of it. There is also a lighting faq link in my sig, you can search there too.
