How will you lower it if you use the stock struts and springs? Replacing the struts and springs is how you lower a car to begin with.

You might find a 2" drop on 18" rims to result in a harsh ride... FYI.

only way to lower on stock springs and shocks.... either cut the springs or clamp the springs, clamping is dangerous couz it can spring off, cutting the spring ****t ride

Bad idea. Save some money and do it right. You can buy lowering springs/struts for a bargain price from the classifieds section.

use spring compressors to compress the spring some and leave it on, that will lower the ride and save a lot of money. . .

WOWWWWWW dudes an idiot...dosent know shyt bout lowering a car, but hes gonna ... hmmm yeah lets cut the stock suspension apart...im sure this will give a quality ride and be safe...lol ... what are people thinking?....buy a set of springs and do it right ... stop trying to do something half-azz and safe money....... goodness people are stupid ...

not to mention cutting your springs 2" will put major strain on your struts and blow them out quickly ...then youll be paying hundreds to replace your struts ....... I swear these newbs are just plain stupid ... why dont they just read before they post moronic questions like this

Your car is gonna feel a hell of a lot slower with the Z's 18's. Trust me.

Those are pretty heavy rims, so are 2002 Max Rims, which is what I have my 95. As far as the spring/struts, do it right man. Save up and get you a nice set of springs and struts. Check the GD section.

Thanks again guys. I weighed the two different wheels/tires and and the 350z rears were 15lbs heavier than the stock 15's. I wouldn't expect that much, but it isn't horrible.
