What Bi-xeon's projectors/HID's to go with?

Ok there has been lots of posts about HID's and BI-Xeon projectors and retrofitting and such lately.....

SO...what is the best/prefered setup to go with..? I want Bi-Xeon projectors... and obviously some HID's... Iv read all the stuff on hidplanet.com i understand how it works but i dont know what to go with.... \
For all of you that have HID's in the maxima please give some input... maybe this will even be stickied!!

i've got Audi a6 bi-xenons in my maxima, i wouldn't recomend them though as they're too damn big and hard to fit into the housings

I have Valeo Bi-Xenons in my Maxima. I wouldn't recommend these either due to the size of the projectors. If you could live without hi-beams, I would suggest Valeo or maybe Bosch. I'm not to familiar with the dimensions of the S2000 or TSX projector, but if those do fit, I would put that in. Another consideration would be of course your budget as the S2000 or TSX is more $$$ than the Valeo/Bosch/Hella.

I think the TSX projectors for low beam would be a good size to fit in the housing. I had the E39 projectors, which were low beams, installed on the Maxima before and they were a good fit.

The TL Bi-Xenon projectors have a nice output but I haven't tested those in the Maxima headlights yet though I have a pair and it is VERY pricy.

Org members JSMexUSA has TL bixenons and I think Rowan has e46 bixenons. You make your choice by the lighting patterns as seen in the videos/pics section in hiduniversity stickies there. (site is down due to bandwidth though) .Here is another post.

OT: (srry to ***** your thread) Would it be wiser to mount TSX projectors inside or behind the headlamp? I'd goto hidplanet but they are down as you already know

Scim, I would go behind the headlamp with a flat plate and mount the 2 projectors to it if you are using the h3/h7 projectors too.

Bi: ZKW (Best value for Color, cutoff, beam pattern, etc.) I think Geo has fit these in his car. TL ($$$ but SWEET), Bosch(with the washer mod, I've gotten a fair amount of blue out of mine while not compromising the amazing width and even beam pattern that the E46 Bosch bi-xenons are known for.

Single: s2000 ($$$ but SWEET), TSX($$ but sweet), EVO(hard to find, $$ and again SWEET)

do a search for my HID thread...

E46 bi-xenon fit in good. TLs are very big and require major housing malestation. E55 are big but still can be fit in. And yes, having high beams makes a BIG difference, unless you live in a major city, where every single road is well lit.
