O2 Rear / Clean?

Getting intermittent ecu reading re REAR OXYGEN Sensor. Is there any point in removing and cleaning it vs replacing. What is the best way to clean an O2 Sensor?

Heat the end with a torch to remove any buildup/contaminants... and my recommendation would be to just replace it.

Since SeaFoam is suppost to be safe on O2 sensors, couldn't you just soak it in Seafoam for a bit? Rear O2 sensor doesn't effect performance btw so do whatever you please with this sensor, its only there to monitor the cat and you dont have a DTC for Catalyst inefficiency. The only time the ECU will rely on this sensor is when one of the two front sensors is out-of-range.

I would just replace it. It doesn't change your mpg. It just turns on the check engine light. Change it youself and save some bucks!!

Rear O2 same as front?

Is the rear sensor same as the front 2?
If so it occurs to me that I should swap my nonworking right front bank sensor for the one at the rear of the CAT...

I was also thinking of cleaning my O2 sensors. My plan was to use some denatured alcohol. What do you guys think of this?
