ludalip body kit?

Has anyone tried to make the ludalip into a whole kit? I've seen the lip done succesfully so it doesn't look so DIY. I photoshopped it onto my car and i think it looks good as a concept.

Please don't vandalize your maxima with that hideous mod. Your car looks nice and clean the way it is. Wait until you an afford a real body kit.

I'm just strapped for cash right now and I kinda liked how it looked. Most kits out there look so ricey and I think this one is much more complimenting. This would be temporary until I can find something I really like.

No kit > ludalip. No offense intended to the "inventor".

sorry wetzleman1 i'm with the rest of them.. i don't think it's very "complementing".. however let me be the first to say: do as you please. Don't let other people's opinion stop you from doing it.. if you like the look then by all means do it .. they're not driving it you are.

Also i'd like to say i know where you're coming from with the "strapped for cash" .. i think quite a bunch of us are

You could always try it, if you don't like it, take it off....it won't cost very much. I would be interested to see how it looks when complete...that is if you go ahead and do it....
Let us know...

The plastic part is way too big. Try PSing around 2 inches of the plastic on your car, i think it will look much cleaner.

What is PSing and what 2 inches of plastic on the car do you mean? Just curious...

lol, i had a Ludalip on my car way back in the day. the front lip can look decent if you use the 2" stuff. for a $10 mod it kicked *** back then. however don't bother trying to put that stuff around your entire car, it wont work and will look like total ish. as you said, its only temporary, so go ahead and put it on until you can afford a real kit. if anything, you will learn how to drive more carefully and not scrape the hell out of your expensive stillen lip when you finally get one

I say put it on and ride around with something that does nothing asthetically for the car. It is definately different, but different doesn't mean good....buy a regular kit...take your time to piece it together, don't be in such a rush....

The ludalip is lame enough, but a whole freaking kit of wall molding is just pathetic.

its WALL molding, it belongs on a WALL, no offence to the original poster but that looks completely and utterly rediculous. im at a complete loss for words when i looked at that car. thats probably worse than 99% iof the things i have seen ricers do, i would take a single colored windshield wiper over this mod

If you like it do it.

good paint job will really hide the home depot-ness of it.

The entire point of this thread was to ask what people think. I haven't done it yet obviously so I don't really see how I could be offended. It was just an idea I decided to throw out there.

My thoughts too. Good luck attaching that to your car with out using a billion screws to make it secure. I wonder what that would look like at highway speeds? Ludakit flapping around like a fish outa water.

That lip was borderline ghettofabulous to me. I wouldn't so it son. I could see installing just the lip to get used to driving with a bodykit front lip or something as a "trainer" for a little while, but not something permanent or a full ludalip bodykit.
