Pump/Motor-like noise after shutting off car

Just after I pull into my garage and shut off the car and get out of it, there's this pump or motor-like sound coming from my Max. Its not the fans. Doesn't sound like its coming from the engine area, but when I closed the door, the noise was still going. Do our Max's have some auxillary pump/motor we don't know about?

Mine does the same thing...It sounds like it's coming from the back left of the car, near the gas tank....I was thinking it was the fuel pump, but that makes no sense for it to be running when the car is off....

Bump for some input from someone who knows whats up!

Mike

Mine makes that sound while the power antenna is retracting after I turn off the car.
