back bumper question

back bumper question



i am confused do u have to custom fit that bumper on to a maxima and cut out peace of quater panel?

no it goes over it kinda like some of the sideskirts. if you look on car domain or somthing you should find a couple maximas with that rear. One including ceasars chariot.

well its not like that picture you posted up there it does actually stick out but a very very very small bit. Gives it that "wider" look from the rear it doesnt look bad, almost looks like its a natural line. What it does is wraps around to the fenderwell and bolts on, it actually is not noticable that it does stick out because of the way the rest of the rear is. search around for some pics youll see what i mean.

i thought it was a entirely different bumper that requires the old one to be taken off and the new one installed......I never heard that it slips over the existing bumper....cool.

no no it does replace the stock bumper but then continues into the rear wheel wells. If you look at a stock maxima bumper it stops right under the tail lights doesnt wrap around the whole rear like the body kit does. Thus it covers the body between where the stock bumper ended and the wheel well .
