I had the skyline kit first... hated after couple of weeks so i went carbon fiber... ever since then i've been carbon fiber crazy as you may see in my sig. i did keep the skyline rear bumper though. I want to carbon fiber that shiznit.

EDIT: those front bumpers on the skyline kits above looks weird... my skyline front bumper had an omega grille like this one on ebay.

Sorry to highjack this thread but being a newbie means I cant post any new topics or search for the information I need!

Anyways, I am looking at a 98' 5-spd with 91,000 miles. I read somewhere that timing chains cost over 1,000 dollars to change for this car and same goes for shock and struts. Is this true?!! Also, what usually needs to be replaced at around this mileage mark (100,000). THANKS!

if the timing chain goes bad you may as well buy a used motor. at 100k change the fluids and check the wear and tear items... brakes, suspension, ect.

So that drop, brake setup and kit are all on the actual car?
They just look sort of odd.
What kind of drop do you have?

How does it look odd??? Remember this was drawn in PAINT!!!
Yes everything is on the car!!! I did mess up the brakes on the "Paint drawing" the rear brakes calipers should be on the back side of the wheel not the front......
I have ground control coil overs with the stillen body kit. brembo drilled and slotted rotors with (red) painted calipers, clear corners, and euro rears. I used chrome 18" x 8" (FORD) or mercury factory wheels off of a 2002 mauarder and replace the OEM centercaps with just plain chrome ones they have 235/40/18 kuhmo ECSTA ASX tires mounted on them. 20% tint and inside I've put the Infiniti I30t interior (ALL BLACK) with the wood trim and extra stick on pieces. And just to add a touch of ....I put the chrome spec-R emblems on the sides and trunk lid (I did it to break up the solid color really) but they look good!!
I did this drawing about 8 months ago when I started this project to see how it would look, and it came out pretty close!!! It is being repainted right now and hopfully I can post some real pictures when it gets done.
I'm going to be in the market for Stillen front and rear strut bars and rear sway bar very soon if anyone has them laying around!!

And it does look like a photo when printed on good photo paper!!!!
