Gauges - SE or Anniversary?

I bought a gauge cluster off of ebay and am wondering if I didn't get a diamond in the rough. I thought it was just an SE cluster but it isn't really WHITE white but more of a champagne color. Is this an infamous anniversary edition SE cluster? The needles have a stripe down the middle that lights up as well. Any input would be appreciated.

Those are regular SE guages. SE-L guages have a digital ODO.

Also they look like they are from a 95-96.

I do remember seeing the special edition limited gauges (on a 99) that had a beige/gold tint to it. They were sweet. I wish they made them for 95-97. Picture doesn't show up for me.

The anniversary gauges are from the '01 SE 20th AE

The SE-L gauges have the titanium tint to them as well as the digital odo.

I will when I get the chance. Just curious if anyone knew. Don't most SE's have red/orange needles?

yeah, should be red needles, right? also, the rollover tach makes me think it is definitely not a 99 (read: not SE-L) and couldn't be AE (5th gen). maybe just faded/discolored? i dunno. hard to really see the gauge color from the pic.

im pretty sure this is somewhat wrong. i have a 97 SE, orange needles, white face came stock, my gf has a 99 SE, white face orange needles also. the only ones that came with red needles was the 99 SE-L, and looked awesome. I don't know about the 98's tho.

my 99 SE-L had red/orange needles. I don't think they have an orange and red needle.

And when I said red needles I generally ment the color other than white. Some might think its red some may see it as orange.

i think they do have one tho, when me and my gf were looking for a max for her, we sat in a 99 SEL, and i turned on the lights specifically to see the gauge difference, and they were DEFinetly red needles. Easily a night and day difference. I can remember saying, "oooh, those are nice" (in comparison to my orange needles)... maybe some faded more than others?? its still questionable.. we'll prolly never know the truth, haha

^ the fuel gauge has been "mirrored" since '98. too bad the fuel & temp gauges lost the traditional SE white face for '02+

What the hel do I have then if you looked at them? A GLE, GXE, or,SE? I bought the car with everything you see in the pic minus the radio. Yeah I know the picture is blurry, I took it and I think I sneezed or something.

I'd say more like silver needles. If they were white, they'd be pretty hard to see against a white face

Yeah I do have a wing and the handles are the same color as the car. Then the guy we got the car from just put the wood trim and the foglights on then?

ACTUALLY, the needles are clear and the bottom of the needle is painted white.

Foglights were an option on the SE. Mine has them. That's definitely not factory wood trim, though, looks aftermarket to me. So the previous owner probably put that on.

Apparently these post seem to revolve around gauges. So is it possible to change the 95-97 gauges to the 98-99 Maixma with the digital ODO?

I think the best looking gauges IMO are the '98+ w/ '95/'96 SE needles
