9004-9007 coversion Wire help

I have read the How To's and it doesnt say which wires are which. I know i need to swap the ground and the low beam but which is the low beam wire? I cannot tell the difference between the high and low.

I’m pretty skilled when it comes to electronics especially with the max and I found it wasn't necessary to get new harnesses. I just cut and resoldered the wires and it works great. I have plenty of light output and have not had one problem with it.

I've been out of the loop for over a year. What advantages do you get for the 9004-9007 if any?

I wouldn't do it again, if I had known how it was going to turn out. It is a mess to make the bulbs fit and I got shavings all in the houseing. Also to not blind other drivers, I had to aim the headlights down so much it caused pretty nasty looking gaps between the hood and headlights. My whole front is F'ed up anyway, so it didn't really matter. I ended up spending near 1 hour a night for 5 nights aiming them and trying to make them even and look right. I also don't like how the high beam really isn't a high beam.

Here is what you need to do:

Before:

[] low
[] ground [] high

After:

[] ground
[] low [] high

Hope this helps.
