Check the anti-freeze/coolant level, both the reserve bottle and the radiator level.
You might have a leak.

This has happened to me many times. I have gone thru a few radiators. Check to see where you are leaking from and if you can not tell you can have the radiator pressure tested for around 20 bucks ( or free) at a local auto shop. This will let you know if its a hose, the radiator, water pump and so on.. then you know how much you have to spend to fix it, if its the radiator buy it from www.radiatorbarn.com, got mine all metal , all black for 119.00 shipped. PM me if you need help replacing the radiator its very simple.

check coolant and also check thermostat.....i had the same problem. thermostat was stuck open allowing to much coolant to flow. Does the temp gauge go up around half way like normal or does it stay on or close to cold all the time?

Sounds like a thermostat to me. Can you smell any coolant inside the car? It will smell sweet, almost like syrup (delicious, but don't eat it.)

You have a leak somewhere but there are a lot of 'somewheres'. The radiator could have a leak, any of the many hoses could have a leak, the heater core could have a leak, the water pump, the engine head gaskets could be leaking - just to name a few.

When the engine is cold, remove the radiator cap and fill it with water and put the cap back on. While you're at it, fill the overflow tank too. Start the car and let it get warm (it will warm up faster if you drive it). Then park the car so it is over a clean, dry spot. Leave the car running and look for a water leak, checking all the hoses and everyplace you can, top and bottom. When you find a leak, we can give you more detailed advice.
