Can someone help?

Anyone know where I can find info on how to install a new power antenna?

All the replacement antennas I've found come with the cable to the head unit which means I have to run that through my car's rug/lining, which could get ugly. Need some direction on this.

Thanks.

No you didn't ... Check them all, it's under "How to replace antenna mast"

Yes, I did check the Electrical and Exterior sections. The antenna mast post was much further down and outside of those sections.

The link on that post brings me to another site which doesn't provide any instructions on antennas nor does it have a selection for a '98 Max.

Not to mention, doesn't an antenna mast replacement mean just the mast is being replaced and not the entire assembly, motor and all?

Can anyone plesae provide some direction?

Thanks.

Pop the trunk, and detach the carpet on the right side(pass side) and there's a metal box there, install new assembly, and call it good.
