Grounding kit?

Can anyone tell a difference in their car with the grounding kit? I know it will brighten your headlights but does it really increase hp and torque like it says to anything you can notice?

Never heard of any maximas gaining power from it. All a grounding kit does is improve electrical circulation, and possibly prevent electrical power loss.

er, list of band-aids. A grounding kit is wholly unnecessary unless your stock grounds are corroded/broken and you're too lazy to clean and replace them. The only power gains to be seen are from cars where the grounds have deteriorated to the point of affecting sensors and the electrical system. You're only restoring the power at that point.

I have some solid gold ground wires for sale. I know you might not notice a difference, but go ahead and put it in so you don't have to wonder.

i guess you non believers dont know that the stock grounds are painted. there was a dyno of a member who gained 8 or so hp from an HKS earth circle. even a 350z gained some power on the dyno.
its not a band-aid

Plenty of people on here have grounding kits and not one has said they gained horsepower from it. Wheres the dyno?
I have a blemhco kit and I barely noticed anything, and more horsepower was not one of them

It's easy to make a hp improvement when the existing grounds have deteriorated. Of course, cleaning the connections would fix it too, but that doesn't sell ground wires

I personnelly think its a marketing ploy to get more people to purchase it. Jsutter if you can go get your car dynoed with and with out the grounding kit on than I will stay mum. But as far as those so called HP gains that's nothing but fudging.

I made my kit for my 03 eclipse GTS and it def was worth it. Lights were brighter and bass was crips and didnt dim lights at all. even when driving fast and cranking the system. Started better in the winter too. I would recomend a ground kit on any car. Just dont buy one. Make it.

The only thing I noticed was faster startups in the cold and my transmission shifts a little smoother. I made mine for about $20. The terminals alone were about $12. I'de say just make one. What's $20.

Did you read this article? They didnt just simply add a ground kit, and heres their comment about the kit.
Unfortunately we didn't have time before our deadline to test the theory of increased horsepower gains with the use of the Hyper Ground System. Our educated guess would be if that if there were any gains they'd be minimal at best, especially in our turbo charged project car. Horsepower and torque gains more than likely would appear on dyno testing on a B14 with moderate bolt-on modifications, but that's really speculative on our part without further testing. Slight horsepower gains have been shown on various vehicles through other publication sources.
Improvements in throttle response, smoother idle, brighter lights, and reduced audio noise are all noticeable on our project vehicle. Sun Auto also claims the Hyper Ground system will improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions, and produce quicker engine starts. We can attest to the quicker engine starts, but that could also be attributed to our Optima battery and improved factory power and ground wiring. All in All you really can't go wrong with this minimal cost modification. We hope to get some additional test time in the future to run it through the paces. We'll get back to this one.

maxima dyno can be seen here: http://sunautomobile.com/
JET chips also have dynos of a maxima on their website too.

Ill believe a dyno from someone who actually purchased the kit and not a magazine or store that sells their product.
