brake light issues

my rear lightswork but when i press the brake they dont work. any ideas? do u know which fuse it is to check if thats wat it is. please help

Does the 3rd brake light work? If so just replace the bulbs in your tail lights.

finally found the fuse. but i put new ones but that ****keeps blowin. i starting to get mad. how would u go about finding where the short is

Pull the bulbs out and make sure they are correct, check the sockets for corrosion.
