Cylinder 6 Misfire...

So my CEL came on and the code read that cylinder 6 is mis-firing, and I posted this about a week ago and everyone suggested replacing the spark plug and checking the coil pack, but unfortunately, it was neither of those. So before I take it into the shop I was just wondering if their is anything else I could check... Also, cylinder 6 is the one closet to you and all the way to the right... right? Thanks for any suggestions. (Could it be a bad injector? How much would that cost to fix?

could be a bad injector... it sucks cuz they are expensive... use an ohm meter and check to see that it has a 12ohm load if not thats ur problem....

You can either buy a new injector or just buy a set of used ones like I did (check Classified section here or eBay)

How did you rule out the coil?

To test the injector, well a cheap and easy way, get a piece of hose, turn the car on, use the hose as a listening aid, and verify that the injector is "clicking" like the other 5.

I ruled out the coil pack becuase I took it down to AutoZone and had em test it and he said it was fine. So, the only thing left is the injector... does anyone know the link for replacing it? How much does one of those cost?

i think im having the same problem. might be different cylinder. but also did you notice a large loss of power in the car? cause i did. i haven't checked my injector but i did check everything else, (plugs, coilpack, and if theres spark etc). i heard that dealerships can clean out injectors with a proccess of running propane through it or something? is this right for our maximas?
