quick answer

Do 98's have an immobilizer in the key? im bout ot install my remote starter and im curious as to if i need a bypass

It shouldn't ... I am pretty sure only 99s have immobilzers.

And even if it does ... you can just install the immobilzer bypass later if it fails to start.

no i does not have an immobilizer just like scrhale said 99' have it but not 98'
