Powder Coated SE Rims-Glossy Black

Just got my stock rims back from powder coating. I got them coated glossy black. The center caps are spray painted gunmetal. What do you think?

Personally I think it would look better with a polished lip, but the quality seems to be pretty good

It cost $70 a wheel. They sandblast them and then powder coat.

looks damn good! hopefully the quality is as good as the pic shows. it's hard to see whether it would look better with or without a lip. pics on car needed!!

Nice! I always wondered what that would look like...IMO it would look best with black center caps to match. Price doesn't sound too bad for the powder coating.

i agree. if you're gonna go black car/rims/tint, might as well do wheel caps... if anything, you can probably spraypaint and clearcoat those in the future if you want.

i agree with the decision to do gunmetal wheel caps; without a polished lip it helps to set the rim off and not look like a steel wheel. don't get me wrong, i love the black/dark rim look (obviously!) but i think it looks alot better if there's some contrasting part of the wheel, too.

I think the center cap should have been black also.

Otherwise looks great. Post pics when they're on.
