check tire section for good recommendation.

www.edgeracing.com - good tires, decent prices.

if your from buffalo like it says I would get a winter set of tires and then some summer tires. But if you your looking for just one set did you try reading the reviews from tirerack.com

well the first thing is going to be whats your spending limit then you can start eliminating choices from there. Im currently using Kumho Ecsta ASX and they pretty good, but since I know buffalo is snow city I would go with Bridgestone Blizzaks WS-50 for the winter they are the best for snow and cheap. Id worry about getting tires for the summer later on.

The Toyo Proxes 4's are great. They handle great and wear well. Not to bad on snow.

Get 225/50/16's American eagle H2's. Sold at wal-mart, great in the snow, and very good road holding. About $448 for a set of 4 mounted/balanced etc. Make sure to get the protection plan on them, as that is only 51c more and will allow you to get free rotations and balancing. And a Warranty.

From what I have read Kumho Asx's seem to be the best all-season tire for the money. That is what I am going with.

For performance tires I love the Yokohama AVS ES 100. Some of the best high performance tires I have ever owned.

if you want good tires that grip like crazy n even BETTER than the toyo proxes 4, get the continental extreme contact. They are crazy gripping in rain and snow. Dry roads, pretty damn good. The only tires you should never get is wanli's, they suck.

These are all (or what i can remember) the aftermarket tires i've used not including the 5 stock tires i've had on my cars.

BF goodrich ta-kdw ( great in the summer, best grip ever, sucks everywehre else)

Continental extreme contact ***NOT the super sport contact****(best all year tire, will hold its grip to almost all weather conditions)

toyo proxes-4 ( great tires, the dry n snow is good, but the rain isn't all that)
falken ziex ( good tires but suck in the rain n snow)

sumitomo htr+, cheap tires, good quality

Yokohoma es100 (long lasting tires, very good on the dry n snow n rain, but not as good as the continental)

Wanli s-1099 (sucks in general, but great for its price)

kuhmo ecsta 712 - almost the same as the es100, toyo proxes, n contintental.

Fuzion, (made by pirelli and are really good tires except for really heavy rain, doesn't squirt the water off the road n tires fast enough, creates a lil bit of hydro planing when going not that fast

pirelli p6, p7 ( great tires, but can't really find p7 anywhere now)

the 712, toyo, yoko, n continental almost are all the same. Very very good tires. but the continental is jsut a lil bit better in the snow. not by much, but since your in buffalo, anything helps. But if you're looking for just a summer tire, i would probably go with the es100, n second choice would be kuhmo 712. They last longer than the other 2.

I have those- the wear is good, but traction is garbage.

definitly read up on tirerack.com for info, and check out the wheels/tire forum too.

but aside from that im running Avon Tech M550 A/S's right now and i havent had a problem with them yet. hold the road very well, and have pulled me through my favorite 15 mph turn at nearly triple that speed many times without breaking a sweat.

These are great tires. I've had them for 5 months or so and have been extremely pleased in dry, rain, and snow conditions.
