ive read the stickies for pulling the CEL code but i cant even get past step 1, pulling 2 stubborn screws out.. I've tried with all my strenght even making it bend but it still wont budge.. is there some sort of trick to getting them off? if i dont get them off i'm gonna end up spending $75 on a diagnostic at my local shop so any help is GREATLY appreciated, thanks!

 

Are you talking about the plastic cover over the ecu?

 

There are no screws, it's just two plastic clips, just pull the cover and they pop right out.
