Im somewhat familiar with rim and tire sizes but im confused as to what offset is correct/fits right for a max ... I was planning on getting this rim:
(17x7.5, Bolt Pattern 5x114.3, Offset 38) with a 235/45/17 tire ... would this be a good combo? .. not enough people go in the tire/wheel section so DONT whine that I didnt put it in there..

Whereas not just random idiots posting useless crap about stuff tehy don't know.

But your set-up will work. 35-40mm offset is a good rule of thumb
