looks pretty good....get rid of that ugly wood trim and replace it with the stock black trim and it'll look really good

black is a pretty harsh contradiction to the beige. What is the ext. color of your car. Try putting that color instead of the black. I would get rid of the wood dash also. If you like the black, why not extend the black to the top of the front seats? Include the head rest in that.
Good idea though

I think it looks good but you could also make the armrest the same color and most definitely either lose or use the condom in the door. (priceless how u put it in both pics, tho.) my 2 bits, Maxgig

His car is a very dark green...close to black.

Personally, I like where you're going...but it doesn't quite make sense to me. You still have the doo-doo brown interior, you're just getting rid of some of the lighter beige stuff. Personally I would go with getting rid of all the brown stuff and leaving the beige seats, door inserts, and carpet.

yea everyone tells me the same about the removing the wood and putting black. I love that wood trim but if im going to make this work i might have to take it out. What do you guys think now. with the seats with black all the way to top on headrest and also black trim on the center. it was kinda hard maskin black over the wood. but it gives an idea.

IMO the only way you would be able to get away with it is to make the color a chocolate brown instead of black. But Honestly i would just change everything to black...

yea i think im just trying too much with the black. my car has to many shades of beige so adding another color will just make things uncontrolled. I guess ill just leave my beige as is. i was gonna do this project by painting the seats n everything instead of actually getting black leather seats. but w/e don kno ill just leave as is now. thanx all

I was thinking of this before, I thought it'd look sorta good as well. I dunno though... you've GOT to at least get rid of the wood trim if you don't want it to look

Personally I think my interior would be a better candidate since I have the black steering wheel trim as well..

I did almost the same thing. Here are some pictures to give you an idea of what I actually did. Many people complimented my door panels after seeing them in person. I still can paint a lot more interior pieces, but don't think it's necessary.

I think if you are going to mix, just do a black dash (all) and steering wheel. I think someone painted theirs and it turned out very good.

The mis-matched odd painted pieces would look more at home in a DC2 Integra or something.

I would definitely go with this combo as well. Good job! Is that Katzkin? Also, the color combo on the door panels would perfectly match all-black seats.

yeah the seats are katzkin two tone. It looks even better in person, I'll have to get some better pics because since I am in rural colorado the chances of another org member seeing it are slim to none. Threw in a night time pic just for fun!
