Look what my car can do!

Alright, so it is not that exciting but I was enthralled to find out that my windows roll down when I hold my unlock button on my key fob. Now I'm sure all of you veterans have known this for a long time but I sure was impressed. Ahhh the little things, god I love my max!

haha i wish my 99 came with a remote, but apparently the previous owner lost the keys and had to have a new one made, without a remote. I just put my 98's remote on the keychain to act like i can use it

I was really surprised to come up to my car and notice the windows half way down when opening the doors from far away (and I guess holding the button too long).

hey does this still work for the 5th gens as well?

Actually i find it more annoying now. Cause the range on the remote stinks. I find myself pushing it more then twice to unlock and sometimes the windows roll down. I don't want my windows to roll down in the winter time at all.

The OWNERS MANUAL says and I quote "The driver's and the front passenger's window cannot be closed by using the remote controller."

Thank you very much and please don't post b.s.

It doesn't seem to work. I'm guessing it's because my 99 has a chip in the key, i dont know why. Unless the remote broke in my accident, it should be functional.

i woke up the other day and walked out to my car only find the windows rolled down all the way and the driver and passenger side seats soaked. I guess i must have slept with my keys in my pocket and held the button on accident, shoot ma
