anyone have the low power seat heat go go out?

My driver's side low heat just went out, and switch indicator light is out.
High power still works, and switch indicator light works.
Passenger side is fine for both.
Fuse is good.

do the heat coils go bad, or could this be something else? I checked the FSM, and cannot tell from the wiring schematics if there is a single heater coil (using high/low voltage for high/low heat) or two separate heater coils for high/low.

here's the wiring diagram...

most common failure with seat heaters are the heating elements inside the seat cushion or the control module, how is the switch testing out?

to what Blax said... astute observation Blax.

I would double check the switch. I didn't look at the schematic too closely, but I don't think they'll put too elements... the thermostat switch in there is probably how they determine when to turn "off" the heat.

by control module do you mean the switch? I haven't tested the switch yet - not sure how to. just pop it out and ohm it? or measure the output voltage?

Ya - pop it out and ohm it - I'm guessing that even when its on in the low position (the position that doesn't work), you won't have continuity..
