4th gen rattles

I have bout 3 diffrent types of rattles inside my car. 3 interior rattles. They all happen at random. The most common one i hear and the most annoying is in the area of my pass. side airbag. in that corner when i'm driving thru slight bumps, there is a soft low rattle. No clue what it is.

Me second on seems to me a little ticking near my pass. seat towards the middle of the car.

Last rattle. Only happen 4 times or so. is in the center console. Like a little behind the heated seats switchs.

I've had people drive with me. But its kind of hard to make it happen. But when it does it gets annoying. Normally i just rasie up the volume but its been bugging me. I've removed everything that isn't attached to the car one weekend. i mean you name it i did it. except take the car apart. even removed the floor mats but the sound from the pass side air bag happened. the other 2 wasn't present that weekend. But then again they dont happen to offen. Anyone with similar situations?

umm, doing that would probably cuase even more rattling.....lol

Now to be helpfull, i think they make a spray that makes things stop squeeking(not wd40 dammit, made especially for car interiors) I dunno if it would help rattling though.

Ya, I have the one under the pass side air-bag. Just to lazy right now to check it out. Probably start by removing the glove box & go from there.

The rattle under the airbag is the little guy that lives under there. He just waits day and in and day out waiting to press the button when the airbag needs to be deployed.

Well... I hope this helps...

The first type of rattle that you're experiencing is the rattling of your glove compartment. There is a slight gap between the part that opens and closes and the whole dash deck. You just need to put some 3M foam tape around it to stop the rattling.

The second type of rattling that you're experiencing is the seatbelt buckle (the metal thing that clicks into the seatbelt thingy by the center) vibrating against the plastic piece in the inside between the front and rear door when it motion or when the car is on with heavy vibrations.

The last one... never had that problem before...

Your going to have to get some squeek tape. I picked it up at Pep Boys. Its foamy on one side with adhesive on the other. Its supposed to absorb any vibrations. The little guy under my pass. air bag really hates me when I turn the fan on to 1 or 2 (Loud Rattles). he likes 3 b/c it tickles his bung bung (No Rattles).

For the noise near the passenger door/air bag, I can relate. I narrowed mine down to the interior door trim. One of the pop pins that holds everything on was off. Just an idea not sure if this will help.

i had a rattle on the passenger side a-pillar. i stuffed some felt down there between the dash and the pillar and cut the top off so you can see it. so far no rattles!

one more rattle is in the back seat area the seat belt latch(metal peice) hit the little plactic stop on the seat belt(looks like a button) drives me ape **** when my stereo hits. I just have to make sure the seat belt are all the way against it(plastic touching plastic) or buckled in.
