steering veers right..PLEASE HELP !!
steering veers right..PLEASE HELP !!
hey whats goin on..i have a 98 gxe 94k miles, when driving my steering veers to the right, and the wheel stutters a little bit from left to right..the stuttering isnt bad, but if i let go of the wheel the car goes right a little bit....I dont know what it could be,my tires are all up to pressure(35), and my gas mpg seems to be down somewhat as well.. I think I might need to get my tires balanced, because before the end of this summer, the car sat for a year.. I just need to know if this happened to anyone else, and what they did..Thanks!
Have you hit something? A change in front camber can cause a pull, but I believe the camber is only adjustable by shifting the beam, and it shouldn't suddenly change. I assume you have not replaced one or both front tires also?
swap the tires... form left ot right in front.. nless there directional...
balance.... alignment... make shure u dont have a bent cv... ahhh
make shure ur strut mount bearings are okay...(when turning steering any clunks or etc)

Thought i'd throw this question in here. When i drive on the highway the car goes straight. But my tires are wearing more on the inside than the outside. Do i need an alignment? I have stock wheels w/dunlop sport a2's and stock suspension.

get an alignment.
your wheels are probably pointing out a little bit, causing the wear on the inside.
