Ive looked in a lot of stickies but I didnt see a comparison on Y pipes... Im interested in the readline aluminized y for 199$ I know many of you will be dead sick of talking about this... If thats you, just pretend you didnt see it.. I looked and didnt find anything. opinions recomendations??????

Thanks, after eading that I think im going to go with the Budget SS Y for 185 shipped thats a pretty good deal, plus it says it has ne bees in the can which i dont want to have to deal with

Doesn't it make you wonder when someone swears he's search everywhere then a guy with much less post count provides the info? It should tell you to search more and post less.

 

I looked and didnt see it. Im not going to sit and search for hours just to avoid the requiste "Search the stickys/repost/stupid poll etc etc"... someones always gonna have a remark so... I look and when I dont find I ask because there will always be someone on the boards who'll help with out having to make a remark... Not to mention that what Im looking for might not even be in the stickies...

 

What you were looking for is in the stickies and to prove this, go to the 4th gen Modification FAQs, post #46 entitled: "Who manufactures a (insert part name here) for my car? ". Searching is not just about searching for a word, its also about searching for other things related to what you are seeking, in this case an exhaust modification. And no, I am not a paying member so I don't have the convenience of the forum's search feature so my method of searching takes more time than those paying members.

I Didnt say it wasnt in the stickys. I said I looked and didnt find it. Someone was kind enough to help out. So basically, I look at the stickys to save time for myself. If I dont find what Im looking for (even if its there) Im going to post my question for three reasons 1) Im completely unconcerned with your feelings towards it all and 2.) There is always going to be someone who'll help out without making a dumb comment and 3) thats what this board is all about. Also, youll note that the particular product I was aking about wasnt in the comparison So even if I had found it I still would have posted the question...

and I cant think of anything gayer than "Class Dismissed" so im just ending here.

Then you need to look harder. The stickies are there for a good reason. Nobody gets spoon-fed here, you're no exception. And if you don't have the time nor go out of your way to help yourself, most likely noone will go out of their way to help you either. Reposting things which have been discussed or covered in the forum before can cause a moderator to lock your thread w/o explanation, it has happened many times before. Repetition of such can get you banned from the org. If you are unconcerned about the rules of this forum which have been expressed here by me and others, then we can care less about how you feel the next time you need assistance. The last laugh is on you.

 

Yeah all fine and dandy for someone who pays no mind to the stickys at all. But you mean to say that if someone looks and for whatever reason doesnt find something, than he or she should not post the question? Because, I think we'd have a board of stickys with no conversations. I missed the post in the stickys, I looked though every sticky that pertained. Its easy to miss the one post in the sticky thats helpful. I didnt realize this is a board where you cant say to a member, Hey I cant find this, can you point me in the right direction? The problem isnt that I couldnt find it in the stickys, its that everyones remarks make it an uptight board which lead to uptight, stupid conversations like this one. All im saying is if youve seen the post a million times and get annoyed, leave it be. The remarks are unwarrented because, Its not going to change because there will always be a noob and it makes someone who looks in the stickys not wanna ask for help, which is the purpose of the board If I didnt look fine, but I looked and missed it... Sue me!

 

Don't worry, many of us will leave you be the next time you ask another noob question.
