Problems with my Althernator

Hey guys can some one help me out? i put a new battery in my car "Stinger Power2" after with my battary and the brake light started to flash avery time i hit the brake or come to a full stop and today i got a check engine light can any one explane that is going on with my car? Thanks....................

The lit brake and batter light indicate that you need a new alternator.

As for the CEL (check engine light), read the ECU sticky, retrieve the codes (or go to Autozone) and report back with what you find.

the stickies would be good for your maxima.org health.

Most likely the other way - an alt. can overcharge a battery or not charge it at all - both can damage the battery. In your case, the battery might just be drained since the alt. may not be working and it didn't charge it. Just try jump start your car.

NA guys the car startsand drives perfectly it just im geting the flashing battary and Brake lights with i cant figure out y

Then it's time to replace the alternator.

I also would suggest checking or replacing the alternator. If you're not 100% sure, bring it to autozone, and they can test it for you

to switch the subject since were on alternators:anyone know where i can my hands on a high out-put alt. Need at least 160amps or better. thanks if yall can help need 2 sAVE $2500 OF ELECTRONICS
