stillen Y pipe ??

as some of you may know the stillen Y-pipe is made in two parts what gasket goes between the two parts? (not where it connects to the manifolds) but where the two pieces of the pipe bolt together. does felpro or anyone make it and if so what number(or what fits it)?

The units supplied are the 'ones' they use.

I used to have the original 1 piece unit.. equal length..

Then it was murdered.

my guess is a 99-01 front crush ring. its slightly smaller than the regular y to manifold ring. check gregsgarage.com for the part numbers.

kinda OT, I guess, but how does Stillen justify doing a two-piece pipe? what are the advantages to it? i would think it would cause more trouble such as what OP has, as well as more expensive manufacturing and complications.

I think so you can use it for cali spec cars too. They make one pipe and it will fit all. so you don't have to worry about getting th right one (I GUESS???)

exactly. they used to sell a 1 piece equal length (i want one) and now all of them 3.0L pipes are the same. saves R&D, $$ among other things.
