Race pipe
Powerslot Rotors,
Hawk HP Plus pads

Mods already done...

New motor (already put 11k on it)
New tranny (" ")
New LSD (" ")
UR UD pulley
UR Flywheel
ACT Stage 1 Clutch
Cattman Catback
Injen CAI
Short throw shifter
FSTB
RSTB (sold it, didn't like)
Tokico Illumina suspension kit
Racing Brake Rotors (after 2 years they are cracking a little from the holes)

Plugs and wires???
With the MSD 6al what were you planning on doing with it?
were you going to ditch the independant coils and just run the single ignition coil?
You might consider passing up on the straight pipe, the gains over the OEm cat are very minimal and it smells bad. I had one that I ran for over a year due to a faulty OEM cat, it was nothing great.
You might also want to hold off on that brake setup and consider the BBK kits instead.

you could get the ionic kit rather than the stillen and use the money you saved to put towards the BBK!

I was going to do independent...

Might pass on the race pipe then...

BBK, very true... it's just that my racing brake rotors are starting to crack now after 2 years...

Well these "future" mods are this year...

I was going to do 00vi, but it's a bish so I hear to put in and only place around, Maximum Tuning, put one in for someone and they weren't happy with the results... but if someone thats KNOWS how to do it well, then i'd do it... but for now, MEVI w/ ECU, plus I'm not going to be racing my car, so go figure.

IMO no race pipe, and do the BBK, its so awesome, i don't know how i lived w/o it before... go with a RSB and stay with your coil packs you won't gain anything off MSD's. maybe nitrous??? thats my new toy this year, its all in and ready to spray, pics on my domain soon.

Actually JWT ECU runs lean(typically)...

Some people were able to tune the JWT with SAFC, and some people weren't able to..

Well, in that particular case...

Yes his was an SE w/ 1 passenger
But on HIS car and JAY25's supercharged I30.....I pulled on both (believe it or not)

Next day Jay put the stock ECU in and tore me a new one.

If I were you, Id go w/ 5th gen VI and stock ecu...[maybe a black SE grille too]

I won't do a black grille yet, I'm going to hold off on that until I do rims and smoked cefiros. I like Flavor 24/7's but I don't want to be an EXACT twin lol. Black grille does look nice on yours though.

I was going to do the 00vi, but I honestly don't have a place around here that will do it. Plus, I'm not going to be racing it at the track, it's just going to be for my enjoyment. Getting on the highway, maybe some quick driving here or there, nothing serious.

MEVI is easier to install i've heard and read.... so that's why I'll do it. If I had an expert in the area I'd do it, but on nycmaximas.org a few people that went to MaximumTuning in Glen Cove, NY said they weren't happy with how they installed the 00vi, etc, so that makes me shy away from it.

I can't imagine how a stock ECU could be better, and like Nealoc said, he gained a few mph in his trap speed, so I'm thinking its something with their setups maybe?

Flywheel does help in getting the engine to spin faster, I think I'd give you a better race then those guys, imo. But no telling really. on winning though...

Yea do what you want to do, Im not trying to say otherwise, just my opinion.

I seriously dont know 100% what was causing the JWT to act like it did. But, like you said you want a "QUICKER" daily driver, hahah...it'll be real quick.

Digi. Looking good over there. Yeah let me know if you need help with any installs. I around. I would do the mevi if your not looking to hack your whip. I know I would not want to . I recently found a guy who had his motor built in a 98 and is pushing a lil over 300 whp without any f/i. Gonna resaerch it a lil more and go from there. Also go with the C.E. y pipe. The headers are not worth the money. No huge gain.
