i really dont know cause i haventy heard any thing without a y-pipe bust that thing rumbles when u rev it up and the looks are blunt its just nice.

i think it sounds as good as u gone get from a single pipe on a 6 cyclinder, very smooth and when u get to high rpm's the not is very nice, its just with low rpm its loud and deep.

Somethings messed up with either the hangers on the exhaust, or the stock mounts.

the hoursepower difference is noticeable too i guess the y-pipe helped with that.

I wish I had sprung for a good exhaust such as this one, as opposed to some crappy no name one that doesnt fit well and bangs over the rear axle on almost every single bump in the road

I would DIY then bring to a muffler shop if you don't like the way it sits, fix height, whatever. Very easy to install, just the cat bolts on b pipe get very rusty, you can cut them off, put on new.

yeah guys install it yourself and save some money for other mods or for the gas that you ill waste when you get the cattback installed.

Do they sound good on automatics?... Either Y-Pipe and or exhaust? I had an automatic Corolla... that crap sounded tooo deep. I might get a Y-Pipe and leave the exhaust stock, or get one from the G35. I dont want some really loud deep sound on an auto-tranny.

i just bought my car last summer and it now has 122xxx miles on it, it a 98 SE 5 spd, my mechanic says the exaust might have to replaced in the near future, i dont really want a loud, ricey, honda civic type sound, something a little more throaty, what would people suggest.

yeah thanks pat i didint even know if my max was fed spec untill like a day before i got it installed but everything is good im puttin the rims on next and today me and my boy jj put 1 z3 fender on
