I just bought a 1996 Maxima and my cruise control isnt working. Is there any thing I can check to find out why?

Well there a switch on the dash you have to push to your left then you can set your cruise I forgot but some color light will come on

 

if youre 5sp....i know that if you manually adjust your clutch, you screw up the sensor on your clutch pedal and you wont be able to set your cruise control. you can fix this though. theres a writeup i read on it somewhere on the org, ill try to find it for you.
