CD deck removal?

CD deck removal?

hey i got an aftermarket deck in my 99 max and was wonderin if anyone knew where all the clips and screws and shiit are so i dont break anything? i gotta run an AUX wire outa the back so i can hook up my ipod.... oh yea and i had the bose system in before...oh yea and i had bose in there before

ive done it before but it was about a year ago and the website i got the info off now makes u pay...

First, pull up the panel around the shifter. Up on the bottom of the dash (where you pulled up the panel) you will find a screw holding the retractable cig tray. (on the right) unscrew that and pull it out. You will also find another one all the way to the left of the bottom of the console. unscrew that aswell.

You will now have to pry the vents out. Get a thin flathead and start at the top and sides, it will eventually slide out. This will reveal two more screws on the console. Unscrew em and pull the entire dash out.

ok cool, thanks man...and hows your car look in midnight blue? ive been thinkin of painting mine either black or midnight blue
