300zx wheels finally on my car *pics*

Well i've been waiting way too long to put some wheels on my car. I bought this set for $150 and the front tires have about 90% tread left but the rears have bad camber wear. I am going to dismount the tires here soon and paint the wheels gunmetal. OEM +, i am liking it.

P.S. I know the car is filthy

Very nice choice. They will look hot with the gunmetal. How much do they weigh?

wheelweights.net says they are 19lbs. I can tell they are heavier than the 15' sawblades. Der

hmm. i thought 300zx rims weighed 16 lbs each, but dont know for certain, maybe certain ones are. 19 lbs is still about the same as a stock SE rim so not gaining if your coming from stock.

are those 16 x 7.5 or 16 x 8 ? curious about that as well. looks good though

These wheels are from a NA 300zx. so all 4 wheels are 16x7.5. But the TT models have 16x8's in the rear and an offset of 35mm. Thanks for the compliments. Ceasar, 16lbs makes more sense to me, but i just did a quick look up. So who knows.

Very nice rims. I had a set of TT z rims on my old 240, and they were definately light!

looks great. I'm thinking I might pick up some 300zx wheels to throw on my car to use as beater/winter wheels.

The way the tires are on right now, its correct. I could care less how they face at the moment. I probably won't get spacers beacuse i feel its not worth it on this car. But who knows

NA wheels are 16x7.5 +45 they weigh just under 19lbs the TT rear wheels are 16x8.5 +35 and weigh just under 20lbs (I weighed them both) I have thought about painting mine but I'm not sure how they will look with the dark color car.
BTW look on the wheels "L" left side "R" right side

http://www.courtesyparts.com/z32/oe_wheels.html

click on the link then click corner of car to fidn out the part # to get the right wheels on the right side....PS those wheels are designed to scoop air in to cool the brakes so they may look a little funny

Dark color car + Gunmetal wheels = dont look too good

I'd suggest repainting them silver. It looks great on the dark color car. Now your wheels will clear a BBK if you ever get on.

nice rims, good luck painting them to gunmetal. A lot of work involved in it. Post pics when you are done.

Yeah very interested in pics. I bought a parts car with rims that look like that. I want to put them on my (black emerald) NiMax but wasn't sure to paint them or not.
