Indiglo gauges (4 color) stopped working - causes?

My indiglo guages (aftermarket - 4 color, with another button to switch brightness) seem to have stopped working. Any thoughts as to the cause? I took apart the front and everything is hooked up correctly. Fuse issue?

Thanks!

no offence but aftermarket sucks compared to our SE gauges. If you had GLE or GXE that is a different story

its probably the inverter. this happened to me. Search on ebay for the inverter and you should be working again.

The infamous inverter is most likely the culprit as holla said. I'm on my third one now, pieces of poop. If this one goes out the overlays stay in and I'll have led's shine on the gauges or something.

No offense taken - I bought the car used and it had the indiglo already installed. The real question is this - is it easier to replace the aftermarket indiglo with the SE gauges, which I don't currently own, or just redo the inverter? Thanks for the thoughts though.

THE SE gauges might be under the indiglos.. Most people overlay them on top.

no, there more trouble than good, inverter goes out boom, or the needle sticks to them, or you mess up installation and need a entire new gauge cluster.

You're right - I took apart the dash this morning and the SE gauges are right underneath. There are some wires going directly to the indiglo sheets - do I take these off and reattach them to the SE original gauges? Otherwise, how do the SE gauges work at night?

SE gauges work with #74 bulbs in the back of the instrument cluster... it should be functional right now if the previous owner didn't remove the bulbs.

All the bulbs are there - whether they still work or not is anyone's guess. I'll take out the indiglo and see how it looks when it gets dark. Thanks for your help - the easiest "mod" I've ever done.
