is there a difference in how low a car looks between the different shocks (ie: koni and toxico). if so, which of the two are lower?

I guess if you cut them or adjusted them lower (on adjustable models) you would have to compress the spring more to make it fit when puttin git on and in turn make the car lower, but that kind of ruins the ride and the spring, since they are made to hold your car a certain way, people do cut their springs and shocks though. i dont think i could survive around NE any lower than i am though (sprints / koni rear, tokico front / stillen kit)

I was under the impression that the springs alone determine ride height, and that the shocks/struts just "follow thru" so to speak. Not so?? So you're saying that if I get the Eibach/Tokico combo and then change to the Sprint spring to make my car even lower, I will have to cut my tokicos (from the previous combo) to fit??

My observations from this message board has been that
Eibach and H&R springs lower the max about the same, like 1.3 to 1.5 inches. The eibachs are tougher, better handling, but sacrifice in ride. H&Rs are just a wee bit tougher than a stock Max SE.

Then there are the Sprint springs, they apparently lower your car the most, but give a significant loss in ride comfort.

If anyone knows for sure, let me know. Thx.
